Workshop Schedule | Oregon Coast

The workshop begins on Sept 16 at sunset in Bandon. We'll meet at the hotel to introduce ourselves and answer any questions before we drive out to our first shooting location.

We will be shooting sunrise and sunset every day. After shooting into the morning, we will continue to a lighthouse or another seascape location depending on conditions.

We'll be shooting different locations throughout Oregon Coast and nearby areas. We change locations for sunrise and sunset depending on weather conditions so we can get you to the best scene each day. Bring snacks and water each day incase the conditions are great for shooting after sunrise and stay much longer at a given location.

Our workshop will end on the last morning, Sept 22 after sunrise, and check out of the hotel is at 11am.

Coquille river lighthouse at sunrise during a long exposure photograph streaking the clouds.

At sunrise, the Coquille River Lighthouse in Bandon, Oregon, is enveloped in a warm, golden glow that brings out the charm and historic beauty of this coastal landmark. The Coquille River Lighthouse, located on Oregon's rugged coast, stands as a beacon of history and resilience. Captured with a long-exposure technique, the photograph reveals streaking clouds that create a dynamic, ethereal backdrop, contrasting beautifully with the lighthouse's steadfast silhouette. Thor's Well in Cape Perpetua during sunset with a storm in the background as a black and white image

Thor's Well, framed by dark, jagged rocks, emerges as a powerful focal point in fine art black and white with storm clouds overhead. The swirling waters tumble into the well’s gaping mouth, their movement frozen in time, while the ominous sky above roils with dense, dramatic clouds. Monochromatic tones intensify the scene’s contrast, highlighting the rugged textures of the landscape and the raw energy of the ocean. The stormy atmosphere adds an element of mystery and awe, evoking nature's untamed force and the timeless beauty of this coastal phenomenon. Limited edition from the Black and White gallery.
