The Palouse in August, during the harvest season, remains a well-kept secret among photographers. Having recently experienced it firsthand on my journey back to Seattle from Eastern Oregon, I can confidently say that it has become my newfound favorite time of year for capturing the essence of this remarkable region. In this article, we'll delve into the captivating world of the Palouse during the harvest, where warm hues, golden hours, and the play of light and shadows over the loess hills create a photographer's paradise.
